Nate - BJBB App

Name: Nathaniel "Nate" Hawkins

Profession: Intel/Informant

Weapons/items of choice: His feather fountain pen and a small flip note pad

Age: 22 (February 2)

Personality: Nate's a nice guy. That's pretty much how he gets through life. He takes the abuse of a low-paying job as a lackey in a newspaper office as it supplies him with chances to overhear information that might help the Black Jack Bunny Brigade. Nate's a great writer to boot. He loves writing (and doodling). Nate can be seen as a pushover, but he just does what's necessary to survive and evade detection by the police.

He always wears his hat. It makes it look like he just has long hair or something. Nate's not above wishing he was sometimes all human, but he's glad he can at least be of use to the BJBB. He's conscious of what other people think of him and will often try to change himself or what he does to please them.

History: He leads sort of a double-life. Nate works at the Pearson Daily Tribune, a small newspaper for Pearson City. He's on the low end of the shtick, making copies and fetching coffee for the columnists. The chief editor's wife and second-in-command, a Mrs. Jane DeMali, occasionally lets Nate, who is quite a writer/journalist, write an article for the PDT, usually about Rabbits and how they live/what they're like/etc. to allow humans to gain an understanding of the Rabbit world and frame of mind. Nate never ever mentions the BJBB or anything that might endanger the BJBB's mission. Some select article titles: "Bunny Ears: Not Just Sex Appeal," "Carrots Are For Humans Too," "Rabbit Rights: We Were Humans Once." (Thanks to Mrs. DeMali for those amazing titles and topics! *rolls eyes*) However, working for the PDT is a job, and Nate knows he could be doing far far worse.

During the night, he goes down a Rabbit Hole and joins his brethren. He collects information during the day which might be useful for the BJBB and reports that. Working for the PDT has its advantages: he usually knows about any crime sprees, upcoming police checks, etc. since the PDT likes to be informed of that in order to report the juicy gossip -- I mean, "news."

He's got a keen eye for detail and always has his ears alert for any sweet tidbits.

Nate lives all by his lonesome in an apartment near one of the Rabbit Holes. He prefers his own space as opposed to living with his family or another Rabbit roommate.
